Registered Christchurch Osteopaths based at our two locations:
Christina Creek, Stephen Harris and Andre Habib
Christina Creek D.O. (UK), Grad. Dip. Paed. Ost. (Aus.) (Osteopaths on Wairakei & on Ensors)
Christina came to New Zealand after graduating from the European School of Osteopathy in the United Kingdom in 1993. She has greatly enjoyed helping with the wide variety of problems that people of all ages have come to see her for – from the more obvious like pain in the back, neck, head, foot etc; or conditions such as asthma, constipation, to the really complicated, challenging cases such as severe whiplash, severe trauma etc.
Children have been a theme running through Christina’s life — from bringing up her own family, teaching primary and secondary school for 11 years, to completing a two-year postgraduate diploma in paediatric osteopathy from RMIT Melbourne in 2000. She has attended many cranial osteopathic courses and a variety of ongoing professional educational courses.
From one-day old infants and toddlers to teenagers, Christina brings a wealth of experience not only in her osteopathic skills but also in her ability to relate to and manage any age e.g. managing an active or very shy toddler during treatment. This comes from many years of working with children, which is where her passion lies.
However, Christina also enjoys the challenge of the more difficult adult cases which require a holistic approach to restore good alignment, balance and integrated functioning of all the body’s systems.
